It’s July and yes, August is just around the corner, waiting to give us all a warm hug.
But soon, these halcyon days will be blown away by a freshness falling through the air, signalling the graceful arrival of my favourite season of the year.
Autumn.
I’ve got a few lovely autumnal things up my sleeve for you over the next few weeks including tips on how to choose an autumnal wedding venue, but for now we’ve got an ethereal styled shoot in one of my favourite Coco venues – Pennard House.
The location of choice for Vogue, Marie Claire and The English Home magazine, Pennard House is a beautiful, family-owned Georgian Manor House set in secluded gardens and surrounded by meadows, woodlands and cider orchards.
So of course, perfection for this shoot…
Come lovelies, take a look!

Pennard House: For the Autumnal Beauty Inspiration Shoot, we were inspired by the richness of autumn colours as well as the novel Great Expectations and the photographic work of Cathleen Naundorf.
We hoped to create images that were striking and perhaps slightly unusual for a bridal shoot in order to give our brides some unique ideas for their weddings.
We located the shoot in the grand drawing room at Pennard House, a room adorned with fabulous fireplaces, lavish windows and stunning antique furniture providing the perfect backdrop to this decadently romantic shoot.

Choosing one location also meant that we could really maximise the work of the other contributors and luckily enough Pennard House is fortunate to have some extremely talented local neighbours!
The stunning dresses were from the very covetable wedding collection of world renowned designer Alice Temperley, the awe inspiring floristry was by the extremely talented and much sought after Kitten Grayson, exquisite antique lace veils by Lucy Hayes, stunning hair by from Karen Christensen, make-up by Jay Chapman and photography by great friend of Pennard House and top Interiors photographer, Emma Lewis!
All of this expertise was under the watchful eye of the fabulous stylist at Pennard House; Georgina Dearden, whilst Melanie Mildmay-White rocked the Bridal fashion.
The result of all this talent working extremely hard were deeply beautiful images evoking a sense of wistful waiting and anticipation.
A unique take on the bride waiting for her love….
